  • November 21,2001  NYC 1430 hrs


    Day before T-giving. Business is slow. Everybody is in their cars right now and inching towards freedom via the FDR Drive or West Side Hgwy. Nice day here in NYc...cool to a bit cold and sunny.


    Figure I try something on my site so I'm doing my first "New Weblog". I wonder why they don't call it web "entry" instead of "log". I think of "log" as a list of time and dates with events that occured at such time and date. Not actuall specific writing s ..you know ? well..anyway, it's cool and I can see where this can be addicting. All because it's so easy to do. The addiction is the fact that people can read this and e-mail you back with responses and reactions. People just need people's reactions. Especially those who have these kinds of web sites. They thrive off of peer recognition. Kinda pushes them to put up more on their site or do better.


    I already have ideas as to what I want to do with this site (hobbies and interests etc..). That alone can be addicting since I would pose this to the public eye. Talk about the anticipation of feedback. But o.k. for now. First Weblog in, "yeaah baby". Not to shabby.

    Hello cyberworld. Freddy is finally on board with you all.


    Now first it's important to say how I feel right now. well, pretty much like a baby coming out of a womb. I'm feeling excited in getting into this "new world". A bit intimidated due to my severe ignorance when it comes to computers -let alone the web. Full of wonder because I have an awesom team behind me (kinda like parents) pushing me along the way and there for help whenever I need it.


    Yes indeed, it feels weird but ever so cool to be a "baby" again. But o.k., I wipe off my hands and feet, rearrainge my pacifier in my mouth and hitch up my diapers.  Here we go.


    Well...this part is easy enough. I think those guys at Webcrimson and Xanga got something going that is here to stay. Cool.


    Next Step: let's see. Got the news section up . That wasn't too bad. Cut and paste the html stuff to that other editing site and whamo,the news is up on my site (got a bit confused at first when I had to go to yet another site to draw the news out, but I figured that one out -yeah baby - "I are a college graduates").


    Hmm...now what....who knows ? I'm getting off here for now. But I'm writing this down because it'll be cool to read this some day and laugh at how I was. For now,peace people and thanks for taking the time to read....well....not much....unless you've been in my shoes before.........and who hasn't ? Good,then stop,think and "relate" to my feelings about this wonderful experience of editing with ease and having a site for the first time. Most "cool" .
